Sangolli Rayanna (1798–1831) was a legendary freedom fighter and warrior from Karnataka, remembered for his valiant resistance against British colonial rule. As a commander in the army of the Kittur Kingdom under Rani Chennamma, Rayanna played a pivotal role in the early fight for India’s independence.

  Rayanna’s loyalty to the Kingdom of Kittur and Rani Chennamma highlights his dedication to protecting his homeland from foreign oppression.
